As a nanny I found out how much I love being around kids. I learned to plan fun and educational
activities. I grew very close to the children I worked with. This experience helped me
understand the need for organization when working with children.

ZCHS Bravo volunteer

ZCHS Bravo is a volunteer only tutoring service for high school students. During my time
tutoring I learned ways to help students better understand curriculum. I discovered that
students all have different backgrounds and educational needs.

Best buddies program (high school)

Best buddies is an organization through Zionsville community schools that pairs a special needs
student with a buddy or a student not in special education classes. Through this organization
I experienced how to mentor special needs students.
