I am interested in applying for an administrative position in an elementary setting. I am currently
employed as a Lead Teacher at Salem Avenue Elementary School.
I have fourteen years of experience in elementary education, including positions as a classroom
teacher, student achievement specialist, and building level lead teacher.
I currently hold an Advanced Professional Certificate. My certification area is in Elementary
Education 1-6. I anticipate graduation from Frostburg State University in May 2015, where I
will receive my Administration I certification. Additionally, I am scheduled to take the School
Leaders Licensure Assessment to earn my Administration II certification.
It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate,
motivating, and driven instructional leader who will make a positive contribution to Washington
