Students are greeted each morning by the

Math and reading centers are tubs that
allow students to develop different patterns
of thinking, while allowing them to do an
activity they deem as more fun than a
typical lesson. These centers tubs must
remain organized so that the students can
utilize their time to work on the center.

Interactions are fairly even across this


classrooms dynamic. Favoritism can be
observed, but more than not, it is not
favoritism but students desire to be
engaged. Higher proficient students tends
to be called upon more since they are the
ones that are more comfortable answering
questions.
The use of Class Dojo in this classroom
helps students use their better judgment
on how to act towards the teachers and
other students.

to the interests and opinions of

This classrooms teacher was very aware of
the needs and interests of her students.
She was willing to adjust her teaching to
accommodate accordingly.
