Four-Sentence Rhetorical Precis

Scott Willey wrote in his book review for the story Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand about
how Hillenbrand wrote this great story about a mans story of survival. He provides examples

from the story itself to makes the audience visualize what the story is about. Willeys purpose
is to inform the audience of this fantastic book describing the life of a man who survived
ww2. He uses a pleasant and easy going tone throughout the article while describing the
book to the future readers.
Believing/Doubting Game

Believing: This book is the great story of a

man who survived incredible feats when
everything was stacked against him. He
survived many challenges and broke what
was originally thought of him as a thief and
trouble make to become a great hero.

Doubting: This story is biased its written

around the memories of an elderly man who
may not perfectly remember what occurred to
him all those years before. Itd be almost
impossible to know if this is really his own
thoughts or maybe those of a man he wished
to be.
