Under Pressure
Blurb
Under Pressure is a new channel 4 drama about a
teenager called Donavon, at the age of 16. He acquires
advanced skills from a storm but the powers cause him
to go insane.
Storyline
Donavon arrives home from being out and nobody is
home. While he is home alone he is upstairs playing
FIFA and there is a storm brewing outside but he
doesnt think much of it. The storm becomes loud and
vicious which gets Donavon very worried because he
doesnt know where his family are or whether they are
out in the storm so he heads out to try and look for
them as he cant get hold of them.
On his way out a bolt of lightning strikes him knocking
him out. His friend Tom finds Donavon and takes him
somewhere out of the storm, Donavon wakes up
remembering nothing. Donavon has a burn scar on his
arm not realising it has given him advanced skills. Tom
and Donavon go to play basketball and Donavon seems
to be scoring every single shot his shoots but doesnt
know how, he decides to go for a really long shot to test
if its just luck that they have all been going in so
consistently but the ball goes in first try. Donavon has
the suspicion that the storm has acquired him to have
powers.

Donavon wakes up to find Tom has the same mark on

his back as he does too. Donavon and Tom meet up to
talk about this, while talking they figure out what is
going on but Donavon begins to feel funny so heads
home.
Donavon hasnt seen his family since the storm but
people have been telling him that theyre fine and safe
which they are but Donavon cant remember where
they went. He begins to go insane and goes out to cool
down but sees Tom on the way. Tom realises the power
is overcoming Donavon and the power is going to make
him do something that could put other people in danger
so Tom has to do the unthinkable and end Donavon.
As Tom meets Donavon, Donavon realises something is
up with Tom and gets the hint that Tom is going to do
something so Donavon acts fast and starts an epic
battle between Tom and Donavon using their skills to
fight, the fight goes on for a short while before
Donavon is finished by Tom.
