Unit 42 LO3: Script

The Sisters
Opening scene. Tracey cope and Paul Finlayson receive a call through
their radios of two suspicious women walking down the central
reservation of a very busy motorway and could be in danger.
EXT. Police sation
PAUL
Come on Tracey, we best be off.
TRACEY
Right behind you.
We then hear the two officers Get into their patrol car and head off
to the scene. (Sound effects: Police sirens gradually getting
quieter)
The officers arrive at the motor way with the two suspects at the
side of the carriageway being held back by highway agency officers.
EXT. Motorway
HIGHWAY AGENCY OFFICER
Afternoon guys, we have managed to get to get hold of the two girls
although they are still quite frantic. They adamant that they
werent doing anything wrong even though we have video proof of them
running across the motorway once they saw our vehicles coming. So
for now we will ju.. (Stops abruptly)

We hear other officers shouting stop as one of the women runs out
into the carriageway, (Sound effects: car tires screeching and
locking up)

PAUL and TRACEY

Oh my God!

Shortly after, the second woman then runs out.

PAUL (on radio)

Mike Alpha Mike Alpha, two senior officers at the scene we need an
ambulance. We have two possible fatals here. Back up required ASAP.

What the hell were they running for?!

Paul and Tracey each go to a separate person to treat them and keep
them calm.

PAUL (on radio)

Oscar tango 3 3, on arrival two females have run out into the
carriageway. First woman, serious injury ran out and was hit by an
HGV in lane 2, the other woman has been hit by a smaller vehicle in
lane 1. Two serious injuries, we are going to need air ambulances,
over.

WOMAN 1
Aghh no! Get off me!

TRACEY
Calm down love, its alright.

WOMAN 1
No youre not! Youre lying! I want the police now!

PAUL
We are the police, its alright its alright.

At this point, woman 1 is spitting at Paul and is constantly

struggling to get up.

WOMAN 1
Get off of me! Let me get up!

PAUL
NO I cant! Youll hurt! Badly!

TRACEY
Right, Paul. We seem to have got the second woman under control.
There is no visible serious injuries which is amazing but she is
still a bit discombobulated. Im just gonna go back to her to keep
her on the ground.

Suddenly Woman 2 begins to get rowdy and although she is concussed,

she is starting to get up even when PC Tracey tells her otherwise.

TRACEY (to member of public)

Have they got a neck brace or something for her over there?

TRACEY (to woman 2)

Alright dont be going anywhere okay? Just chill alright; chill.

Woman 2 is completely unresponsive and proceeds to get up anyway

TRACEY
Okay then, dont obey me. Christ, wheres Paul?
