    This project analyzed seepage through an earthen dam using finite element analysis. The authors created a model of the dam that was divided into 87 triangular elements. They calculated hydraulic conductivity and pore water pressure at nodes using the Casagrande method. The model found pore water pressure was highest at the downstream toe of the dam. In conclusion, finite element analysis was an effective way to model seepage through earthen dams.
