Who is the best female South African singer?
Posted March 17th, 2009 by Chale South Africa has traditionally had a lot of divas and famous female singers. Much respect to the late Brenda Fassie, Lebo Mathosa and Miriam Makeba, there is also Yvonne Chaka Chaka who resurfaced last year with her Umbambe hit. A lot of young upstarts are trying to gain prominence and take the spotlight left by Mama Afrika, and Mabrr. Some of them are Zamajobe, Thembisile, Zonke, Siphokazi, Lulu, Lira, Thandiswa, Nhlanhla, KB, Kelly Khumalo, among others. Who do you think is the best singer amongst them all and why?
