Human Rights

1. According to the document, there are 30 human rights that are guaranteed
2. Respect for human rights should be promoted by teaching and educating
about these rights.
3. I think article 4 and article 13 are the most important. I think this because
articles 4 basically says no slavery, which we all know is wrong to begin
with. That article prevents someone from being enslaved. Article 13 says that
people have the right of movement and residence, which is important
because if for any reason you ever need to move, you can do so without
hassle.
4. I think that a nations record on human rights should affect their relationship
with the U.N. For example, Saudi Arabia does not allow women to drive,
therefore they should not be allowed to be a part of the U.N. They signed a
document clearly stating that women will have equal rights and they did not
fulfill their part of the deal.
