MEANING OF PERSONALITY
The term personality is derived from the latin word persona
meaning a mask.
Personality is a sum of ideas attitudes and values of a person
which determine his role in society and form an integral part of
his characters.

LITERATURE OF PERSONALITY
According to Watson, Personality is the sum of activities that can
be discovered by actual observation over a long enough period of
time to give reliable information.
According to Allport, Personality is a dynamic organisation with in
the individual of those psychophysical system that determine this
unique adjustment to this environment.
According to R.B.Cattel, Personality is that which permits a
prediction of that a person will do in a given situation.
According to Warren, Personality is the entire mental
organisation of a human being at any stage of this development.
