Meeting Minutes

Meeting was called to order at 7:05 pm by President Rojas.

Reading and Adoption of Last Weeks Minutes:

Executive Officer Reports:

President:
o Met with Jeremy today
o Cameron from Nationals is coming down on Wednesday
Will be conducting an investigation
o No contact with New Members until further notice
Vice President:
o Had first chairmen meetings
Sundays at 8pm
o Chairmen get committees together
Vice President of Membership Development:
o Need more committee members for Health and Wellness
o Hiking Picacho Peak in 2-3 weeks
o New Member activities are all on hold
Vice President of Recruitment:
o Go with the process in regards to the investigations
about the New Members
Secretary:
o The receiver from Turning Technologies should be in by
the end of the week
o Keep checking the Facebook page for instructions and
how to register your clicker for use in chapter meetings
(most likely sometime after the receiver id deliver)
o All dates on the calendar involving the New Members has
been postponed
Treasurer:
o Dues are due Feb. 20th, 2015
Sergeant at Arms:
o Started Standards board on Friday

o Members that were sent to standards and found guilty of

un-brotherly like conduct had to read apology letters to
the chapter

Chairmen Reports:

Academics:
o Possibly acquiring a Chegg account for the Fraternity
o Survey results will be posted soon
o Study sessions on Wednesday for the Fraternity (4-6pm)
with Ben
6-9pm with Jrmie
o Test bank is being worked on
Community Service
o Nothing to report
Philanthropy:
o Nothing to report
Social:
o Dads weekend baseball tickets came in
o Dads weekend is on hold
Brotherhood:
o Come to the intramural games if you can
o Times and locations will be posted
o Wednesday lunch on University
Alumni and Volunteer Relations:
o Nothing to report
Campus Activities:
o Please return jerseys to Grant Adams, they belong to the
chapter
Fines will be issued if they are not returned
Fundraising:
o Invite people to percentage night on the Facebook page
New Member Education:
o Doing everything to keep
Health and Wellness:

Historian:
o 2nd Fall semester composite is here!
Public and Greek Relations:
o Flower handout went well

Old Business:

Waiting to hear back from Chi Omega about Spring Fling

New Business:

Housing situation- one room is not filled

o One brother can pay for half of the room
o Asking the chapter to pay for the other half of the room
Voting next week at chapter
o Baba signed an official contract to pay back the chapter
for his rent by the end one year
