We would like to share our Arabic outcomes for this unit , (
conditions)

Language outcomes:

Unit Theme :

Engages in conversation in Arabic

from?)
-Recognize Arabic alphabet names

Where We Are in Place and Time

Understand and interpret spoken Arabic

-Follow basic instructions
-Demonstrate understanding of vocabulary
(alphabet songs , colors songs-Numbers
song)
-Pronounce the letter sounds correctly

-Pronounce the long and short sound to the
letter correctly

-Recognize Arabic colors .
Use reading strategies knowledge of
writing conversations to interpret
written Arabic
-Read the letters in correct way

Basic vocabulary.

The Trans disciplinary nature of the PYP program encourages authentic connections
across subject areas. These connections will made by using the same or similar
vocabulary as the homeroom teachers.
