The Season starts...

Vijayawada, 28 March. The summer vacation is round the corner and the time for the
students to get out of the bags and Classrooms, and get into the parks and grounds, so as to
get their mind and body refreshed.
It is a fact that the students may not have the same enthusiasm as they once had during the
summer, as they will be preoccupied with tuitions, special coaching, and practicing various
extracurricular activities. Some schools have already loaded the holidays of the children with
special assignments in the name of Holiday home-works, which often become the works of
parents and specially paid tutors.
It is high time for the teachers, parents and the elders in the society to realise that the students
have a right to enjoy the holidays, at the least. There should be regulations to be introduced,
so as to put an end to the practices. The education of the teachers, parents and the school
authorities, though educated, are least bothered about the bad and side effects of what they
do.
