I am writing to recommend Anthony Leavitt in the area of Education Technology. I have
worked with Anthony the past two years and he was a student in my Education
Technology SUU course titled Professional Growth and Leadership, I have been
impressed with his passion for teaching and student learning. He recently completed the
Education Technology endorsement and is equipped with many new strategies and ideas
for the classroom and he uses them on a regular basis.
Anthony is an excellent teacher with clear vision and understanding of the important role
technology plays in the learning environment. He is a leader in our building as a Canvas
Black Diamond recipient demonstrating his knowledge of using blended learning and the
Canvas LMS in the classroom. His passion is evident in his enthusiasm, of which I was
able to witness during his delivery of professional development to other faculty members.
He was prepared for the presentation, very knowledge about the subject, and gave many
excellent and practical examples of how to use the software Class Dojo in the classroom.
