Free lunch! Amazing, inspiring speakers! What could be better? The USC Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab invites you
to our second Lunch & Learn event of the spring semester, featuring Richie Geisel, President and CEO of Bienvenidos.
Bienvenidos is a Compassionate Community of Care dedicated to healing children, strengthening families and
transforming communities. Founded in 1986, Bienvenidos fulfills its mission by delivering a comprehensive array of
services that empower children and their families, are culturally responsive, and are effective models of prevention
and intervention. Bienvenidos strives to meet our families where they are, and give them the support and resources
they need to become strong and resilient. Currently, the organization continues to reach over 19,000 children and
families in Los Angeles through innovative programs and services.
Ritchie Geisel was chosen to lead Bienvenidos as its President and CEO in 2009. He brings over two decades of
business experience in senior leadership positions in the nonprofit sector, helping to lead two of those organizations
through processes of transformational change. Ritchie began his career in academic fundraising and has since been
focused on social service organizations. After earning a degree in history from Princeton University, Ritchie went on to
obtain an MBA from Stanford University. As a businessman, he has a strong track record in leadership and
organizational acumen, which was recognized when he received one of four Leadership Impact Awards presented
by the Center for Nonprofit Management in 2013.

The Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab provides opportunities for USC students, faculty, and other individuals to use business principles
to create social and environmental impact. Through education, programs, events, and career development, we inspire the next
generation of enlightened business leaders and social entrepreneurs.
The Lunch & Learn series exposes the USC community to issues of social and environmental importance and how business solutions can
be used to approach these problems. They are open to Marshall undergraduate and MBA students, as well as faculty, staff, and
students from the greater USC community.
