Objective

Detection, analysis and resolution of performance issues due to increased system

usage, data volumes, and increasing complexity in the 1SAP environment
Setup team structure and processes for quicker resolution / prevention of
performance issues through engagement of teams on technical and application
side.
Prevent any performance deficient solution from reaching production systems in the
1SAP landscape.

Scope & Approach

The initial scope to include the burst capacity for six months for optimization of
transactions with high response time and high resource utilization.
126 unique transactions (607 instances) with high response time (>40 mins)
identified only in SPR.
This would also include 3rd Party RICEWF developments.
Define, implement and enhance the parameters that need to be followed to
identify the areas of improvement.
Since 1SAP landscape is heterogeneous ( ABAP , JAVA and Dual Stack) with
transactional and analytical environments, would

Scope

Includes Standard, Custom and CDP RICEWF developments

Transactions and RFCs longer than 600 seconds (~200 items)
Transactions and RFCs consuming more than 4GB of memory (~50 items)
Batch jobs running longer than 1 hour (~100 items)
This would also include analysis and providing recommendations on 3rd Party
components for optimization
