PLENARY: WHERE ARE THEY?

Feed Dog

These are the small teeth

under the pressure foot that
move the fabric along.

Pick-up Lever
Takes up the thread from
the reel ready for the next
stitch.

Reverse Lever

This changes the direction of

the stitch and allows you to
sew the opposite way.

Light Power Switch

This turns on a light at the
side of the machine,
reducing eye strain.

Needle Clamp
You unscrew this component
to replace the needle with a
new one.

Stitch Length
Alter this setting to change
Selector

the length of the stitch that

you need on your work.

Thread Holder
This is where you attach the
thread to the machine so
that it doesnt slip.

Hand Wheel
This allows you more
control over the needle to
do very precise stitching.

Bed Plate

This is where you rest and

manipulate the fabric when
you are machining it.

Pattern Selector
This allows you to switch
between different stitches.
