HERKIMER, NY Herkimer Generals bowler Selena Barber, a Business: Business
Administration major at Herkimer College, made the Mountain Valley All-Conference Team, averaging 186 pins per game for the season. Barber, a resident of Mayfield, NY, made significant improvements throughout conference play, reaching new heights in February with consecutive 600 series in back-to-back matches. Her 613 at Ilion State Bowling Center was then improved at Hudson Valley, bowling a conference best 661, averaging over 204 pins per game in the span of six games. Helping the sophomore to those impressive totals was a game-high 256 and 258, finishing with 3,359 pins in total which was fourth best in the conference. I am very proud of Selena and her selection to the All-Conference Team, said Head Bowling Coach P.J. Anadio. She is a great bowler and can be as good as she allows herself to be! Despite her accomplishments as an athlete, Selena is an even better student and person. -30-
