Week in Review: February 16 - 20

We had beautiful weather for Carnaval! The stations went really well, the grade 9 French students from
Selkirk were a great help at each station and the volunteers that came out for the morning were
amazing!
Thursday was our final skate of the year! Thats a lot of kids on the ice at one time! A final thank you to
all the parents that helped tie skates on our skating days
Friday we had a lot of fun making inukshuks out of Shreddies, pretzels and icing. I dont think many made
the trip home most didnt last 5 minutes past the time they were finished!
Also on Friday, Mr. Sutherlands skipping club came up to showcase their skills during our Jump Rope for
Heart kick off assembly.

Upcoming Weeks: February 23 - 27

Monday: March 10th Ski Waiver forms are due
Tuesday: Winter Wonder in the morning we will be outside the whole time so dress your child for the
weather!
Wednesday: Pink Shirt Day & Recognition Assembly #2 at 11 am
Thursday:
Friday: 100s Day activity stations all morning
