About the Show:
With music by Stephen Schwartz ('Pippin',
'Wicked', 'The Hunchback of Notre
Dame') and book by John-Michael
Tebelak ('The Glorious One', 'Ka-Boom'), the
Gospel of Matthew comes to the stage of the
NYCA Cabaret Theatre. Originally premiered
by the creative team at Carnegie-Mellon
University in 1970 before its debut in
London, Canada and finally Broadway, the
musical portrays Jesus & the disciples as
clowns celebrating life under the banner of
Love & Understanding...
