VENTILATION of Diesel generator

Ventilation for DG internal are designed

by Powerica - DG supplier. The system has
got inlet fan and an exhaust fan which
suck fresh air from atmosphere for cooling
the DG internals, and hot air is carried
away thro exhaust pipe line. Capacity of
suction/exhaust fans, pipe sizes,
ventilation sizes - all are designed &
supplied by Powerica. W.r.t room
ventilation, we have considered exhaust
fans (actually not required, still provided
as good engg practise).

Contract does not call for, and hence not

considered. If required, area outside DG
room can be utilized.
