PREPOSITION

Prepositions are usually used in front of nouns or pronouns and they show the
relationship between the noun or pronoun and other words in a sentence.

preposition of time: untuk memberi petunjuk

waktu(at night, after, during, In, at).
Ex:
1. When a glandular cell is bathed in radioactive
amino acids, newly formed radioactive protein
molecules can be detected in the granular
endoplasmic reticulum during 3 to 5 minutes.
2. Robert hooke is the first scientist to introduce
the term cell in biology in 1665.

 Preposition of date or day

To show the day and date ( on, in,etc)
Ex:
1. Later in the 1920s, the electron microscope was
developed, making it possible to view objects that are
smaller than a wavelength, once again, changing the
possibilities in science.
2. the first real invention and use of a microscope was
by Anton van Leeuwenhoek. He was a Dutch draper
that took interest in microscopes after seeing one
while on an apprenticeship in Amsterdam in 1648.

 preposition of place and position: To

show place and position (among,
inside , outside, about)
Ex:
1. Chemical reaction take place among
the dissolved chemicals or at the
surface boundaries between the
suspended particles or membranes.
2. This was a major advancement in
the field of biology since little was
known about animal structure up to
this point compared to plants.
