multiple choice items? How can logic, even when
applied correctly, sometimes fail to yield the
right answer?

who require it will receive extended deadlines
for writing assignments and/or shortened
reading.

completing multiple choice items, as well as

ability to correctly answer multiple choice items.
They will show their learning by writing an
analytical essay.

Do Now: Students will be presented with the


correct answers. Next, you will write an FRQ
timed essay (that will be kept in student
notebooks) on the following prompt:

Choose three items you did not answer


correctly. After starting with an opening
paragraph describing the project at hand,
describe the failure of logic that led you to
answer incorrectly. You might consider: did you
originally have the right answer and then
change it? Was your incorrect answer based on
a lack of vocabulary? Was your answer based on
an insufficient understanding of the piece? Were
you able to use context clues? Why were these
not sufficient to result in a correct answer?
