Objective
Occupational Therapy student searching for work environment to apply and use acquired skills and knowledge.
Interested in working in a variety of settings with a desire to help clients. Experience with an assortment of
diagnoses, populations, and settings during fieldwork. Looking to expand and develop my skills further with a
progressive company.
January-April 2015
Visited with children and family within the home to address medical and developmental needs of children. Completed
standardized assessments and evaluations in order to establish baseline. Communicated with family and caregivers in order to
develop goals and plan for treatment. Educated in and practiced handling techniques with children to promote developmental
movement and function. Worked with pediatric clients of varying ages and diagnoses.
June-August 2014
Worked with and treated adult clients on the inpatient rehab unit. Worked with a variety of diagnoses and clients. Worked up
to and carried a full caseload of clients under the supervision of registered Occupational Therapist. Completed evaluations,
created treatment plans and goals for clients and monitored progress throughout treatments. Developed individualized
treatment sessions to assist in reaching goals. Became educated and familiar with workings and documentation in a hospital
and rehabilitation setting.
