Progressive Scales and String Crossing Exercises

Progressive Scales
The purpose of this exercise is to develop left hand shape in a traditional hand shape.
With the exception of the first and last measure, each measure will be played in two
positions, one for the first two-beats and one for the final two beats.

String Crossing
The string crossing exercise builds upon a progressive scale. This exercise ads a lower
lower string articulation between each note of the progressive scale. The purpose is to
help develop right hand finger flexibility and precise string crossings.
