youth services by Weston-super-Mare Town Council - to establish a Youth Club in Mead Vale
Residents Facilities
Councillors on North Somerset and Weston councils are working together to deliver a play area
and bus shelters in West Wick. The public toilets at Worle Library have been refurbished and
kept open by Weston Town Council.
Responding to Residents Concerns and Queries
Councillors have toured the area with North Somerset Council Officers to highlight environmental
issues and concerns raised by residents. This has lead to several pieces of work being carried out,
including: ensuring that roads are resurfaced and potholes filled, arranging litter picks in rhynes
near Summer Lane Pond, clearance of blocked drains, and ensuring that vegetation is cut back to
help sight lines at Scott Elm Drive.
