International House Saudi Arabia provided the English language part of the orientation year program for Yansab's new
trainees, covering General English, Business English, and Technical English, as well as English for Specific Purposes
(ESP).
The trainees were taught a series of 6-week courses over six months in order to prepare them for the Basic
Operations Training course, which is taught in English. They were tested bi-weekly and reports were prepared at the
end of each level to monitor their progress.
The final course, Technical English, focused on terminology, conversation and writing specific to the petrochemical
industries' needs.
In addition to teaching, my duties included:

Contributing towards curriculum development of existing materials

Developing customized English language training programs according to the needs of the client

Observing and evaluating other teachers during teaching
