This project submission compares single elimination and double elimination tournament diagrams. It outlines the advantages and disadvantages of each type of tournament structure. For single elimination tournaments, the main advantage is simplicity and ease of understanding, while the main disadvantage is that they require minimal participation. Double elimination tournaments guarantee each team can play at least two games, making for a more justified winner, but they take longer to complete and do not maximize the use of multiple playing areas as well as single elimination tournaments.

Advantages and Disadvantages of
Single and Double Elimination Tournament: The advantage in using Single Elimination Tournament is that it is the simplest or the easiest to conduct and the playing teams will be able to understand them easily. On the other hand, the disadvantage in using this type of tournament is that, they demand the minimum participation. The advantage in using Double Elimination Tournament is that it is guaranteed that teams or players will be able to play two games in minimum and it presents a more justifiable and defensible winner than does the Single Elimination Tournament. It is also less predictable and therefore more entertaining to watch. On the other hand once more, It also have cons using this type of
tournament as it will take a longer
time to finish and it does not maximize the use of multiple playing areas.
