Steps involved in effecting new temporary service connection

( Supply for Construction of Building) and subsequent Tariff
Conversion.
1. The application for "Supply for Construction of building" can be
registered
through application tracking module under "temporary
Service" Option in AE user.
2. During Registration process, the following fields should be selected in
addition to the already available fields .
a. Type of Temporary supply --> Supply for Construction of Building

(or) Additional Construction exceeding 2000 sq.ft

b. Whether undertaking obtained from consumer --> YES
c. Permanent Tariff After Construction
--> As per the Tariff
mentioned in
the Undertaking.
3. After completion of Registration , Registration fee may be collected.
4. Necessary sanction may be obtained from the authorities as per the
power of
sanction.
5. During Sanction Entry in the application module, the Miscellaneous
charges
applicable to the permanent tariff mentioned in the
undertaking will be raised
and the same can be collected.
6. After collection of all the charges, service number will be assigned in
the "000" distribution through priority register.
7. Assessment: For CT Services - Monthly
For Non - CT - Bimonthly.
For example if the date of service connection is 10.10.2013, then the
billing
cycle is Even Cycle .
Already assessed cases, the next billing month will be two months
from the
latest assessment month.
For example, if the latest assessment date is 15-09-2013, then next
assessment
Month will be 11/2013.
8. After completion of construction activities, the tariff for the service can
be changed to the permanent tariff mentioned in the undertaking by
using the "Tariff Conversion-2013" link provided in the AEE user.
During the above conversion process, new service number will be
assigned as per the distribution code selection and testing fee of
Rs.75.00 will be raised as misc slip.

The existing LM51 services used for construction activities can be

converted into
LM61 using the "Tariff Conversion-2013" link already provided in AE
user.

tracking module and Tariff Conversion Module.
