Reflections
Last week we brainstormed the word house/home and what it meant to us. We also used
our inquiry skills to begin discussions about the artifacts and pictures that have been brought
into the class so far. We learned about the terms digits and attributes when doing Mathematics.

Learning Engagements:
Next week we will be focusing on:
Language - In support of Literacy Week each class will be focusing on one particular authors work by reading and listening to their work and creating our own pieces of writing.
Maths - We will be discussing the differences between 2D and 3D shapes and the concept of sequencing.
Inquiry - This week we will talk about the difference between a home and a house. We will
also be talking about the why certain materials are used to build particular houses in different countries.
