The current DOS has become obsolete due to
discontinuance of Microsoft support
Risk of unavailability of DOS compatible hardware
in future since there is no contract from supplier
Limited compatibility of the current system to
changing IT demands
Inability to share information electronically made
inventory management highly difficult

Yes Zara should build in-store networks

Wireless networks are cheaper to install
Eliminates the need to manually tallying up total
sales at the end of each business day
It would help a store to exactly and rapidly
determine the theoretical inventory of its SKUs
as well as of other stores
In-store network would enable managers to have
comprehensive understanding of sales activities
on both consolidated level and section ( men,
women, etc.) level
