BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB

Mission Statement: To enable all young people, especially those


who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive,
caring, responsible citizens by providing quality programming to
the youth of Johnson County that focuses on education, the arts,
technology, and health & physical fitness in a safe and positive
environment.

The Franklin Boys and Girls Club is a non profit organization


benefiting the youth of Johnson County. They offer youth
development opportunities through physical and social interacting
activities. They also offer after school programs to those children
who may not have after school guardianship.

JOHNSON COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY

Since 1911, Johnson County Public Library has worked toward improving the quality of life for all citizens of
Johnson County, Indiana. Their mission is to provide you with courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient service and
access to a broad diversity of information through resources and programs.

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY HUMANE SOCIETY

The mission of the Bartholomew County Humane Society is to provide humane support,
care, shelter, and medical attention to abandoned and homeless animals, to place
adoptable animals in permanent homes, and to promote education for responsible pet
ownership.

BCHS Objectives: Provide sheltering services for county strays and injured or abandoned
animals, Provide placement for owned pet animals through a listing service, Seek quality
permanent homes for pet adoptions, Help enforce animal control laws, Maintain a high
adoption shelter, Network with regional shelters to place animals, Educate the public
about responsible pet ownership, Offer pet cemetery burials

HUMANE SOCIETY OF JOHNSON COUNTY

Humane Society of Johnson County benefits companion animals and the community by:
Enhancing the companion animal-human bond; Facilitating adoptions; Supporting
spay/neuter programs; Educating the public on the importance of responsible pet
ownership and the humane treatment of animals.
Vision Statement: The Humane Society of Johnson County will be the premier
organization for enriching the quality of life for animals, their owners and the community.
We will provide facilities and programs that lead to responsible pet ownership/adoption
and the humane treatment of animals.

EDINBURGH PARKS AND REC

Edinburgh Park and Recreation is proud to provide multiple locations for our approximately
4,800 residents to enjoy celebrations, play and learn safely, laugh with family and friends,
and relax in the beautiful, natural areas our town is honored to share.

Edinburgh Park and Recreation offers a number of events, programs, rentals, and of course
pool access! Our major areas of interest include Irwin Park, Prosser Park, Bryan Park, The
Aquatics Center, and The Sports Complex. They also offer many different youth sports,
youth group as an afterschool program, and also volunteer opportunities for many of the
communities needs.
