Elementary and Long Mill
Elementary. "STEMville" is a
series of free family science
programs sponsored by
Novozymes and led by
outreach educators from
Morehead Planetarium and
Science Center. Each
"STEMville Family Science
Night" program includes
hands-on, tabletop activities;
guest speakers on science
education and STEM
careers; and science
enrichment resources for
families. 6 PM - 8 PM

Classroom News:

The students had a busy week last

week with many special Valentines Day
activities. We hope you enjoyed the
projects and artwork we made!

This week we will begin a unit on plants,

including parts of plants and planting seeds. We
will watch our plants grow over the coming
weeks, observe and measure them, and
hopefully, plant them outside in our classroom
garden when it is time.
