    We are having our first quiz today. As scary as it may be for the
    students, please know that the students will not fail the test. Rather,
    it is for me to see how much the students remember what they have
    learned and what areas we need to work on more. The students will
    be given an option to do a challenge sheet in which they will try to
    write and read words and phrases as opposed to recognition being
    the emphasis of the actual test.
