I am Puneet Chugh, presently studying MS at NYU School Of Engineering. I started my

Graduate Studies in Fall 2014. I have worked as Software Engineer with Aricent for 2
years on LTE core network with customers like Verizon, Oceus and Airspan. I have also
worked on Multi Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) team. During my stay at Aricent I
have worked in development, testing, support and integration teams.
I am very proficient with programming in C language, python, shell scripting on Linux
platform. I also have hands on experience of Inter Process Communication (IPC)
programming Sockets, Pipes, FIFOs, etc. I have also worked on various tools like
GNU debugger, Purify, Valgrind. So, I have a good working knowledge of programming
on Linux platform.
I completed a project, Gesture controlled Vehicle in this semester. Though the project
had hard deadlines because of the academic calendar, yet we were able to finish it in
strictly 3 weeks. The Professor and fellow students lauded the project for the idea and
quick completion. My role was to complete the module between gyroscope sensor and
vehicle. The programming was done in C language. Presently, also working on the
quadrotor simulation leading towards the improvement of the algorithm using Kalman
filter.
My interest for Software has been growing and therefore I would like to pursue it
professionally. I am highly interested in developing software application being used in
industry. I have keen interest in being a part of a development team.
I am looking for internship in Summer 2015 (June, July and August) and have attached
my resume for your reference. I am very comfortable on working under deadlines with
the need for perfection.
