Currently working as an independent consultant providing LDC training and working with LDC.org
in the development and revision of online courses and instructional resources associated with the
Literacy Design Collaborative. I also spend time jurying modules for national publication for
LDC.org.

Literacy Consultant
I trained and coached teachers in the Literacy Design Collaborative initiative. I served as the lead
LDC trainer of the statewide roll out in West Virginia. I worked with urban, suburban and rural
school districts. Duties included conducting training, observing and debriefing LDC lessons being
taught in the classroom, and providing written and verbal feedback related to the LDC modules
being developed and taught. Identified as one of the top LDC trainers and had the opportunity to
introduce Melinda Gates at the SREB National Networking Conference during the summer of 2014.

In my time at Rogers, I trained in Jane Pollocks GANAG model, the LDC Initiative, SmartBoard,
and SIOP. Along with my teaching duties I served as the Business Academy lead, CTE
Department Chair for Heritage, and assistant coach for the volleyball team. I am a Microsoft Office
Specialist in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
