Pacific Cross International Company Limited has over 45 years of health insurance experience in Asia and has been past and present owners of several reputable health insurance companies (Blue Cross Insurance Inc. in
the Philippines; Blue Cross in Thailand and Hong Kong)
We are a member of the Pacific Cross Group of Companies, Asias pre-eminent health and travel insurance specialist, our first involvement in Thailands health insurance market was in 1980 with the granting of our first
license. In the 1980s, we established Blue Cross Thailand and that business was acquired by BUPA in 1996. We re-entered the Thai market again in 2001 as Med-Sure Services Limited, managing the administration of
health/travel insurance policies first in partnership with Nam Seng Insurance and then from 2005 to the present period of time with LMG Insurance under the brand LMG Pacific Healthcare.
Pacific Cross Health Insurance PCL is Thailands newest registered Health/Travel/Personal Accident insurance company, but is at the same time Thailands most experienced health insurer, and the same group of companies
that has been the administration partner behind health and travel insurer LMG Pacific Healthcare since 2005 (we are the Pacific in LMG Pacific Healthcare).
Late in 2013 and with support from the Thai insurance regulator the group acquired a controlling stake in the registered health insurer Borirak Insurance PCL. This business has since been recapitalized by a further US$2
million, relocated and consolidated into new premises in Chartered Square, North Sathorn Road, Bangkok. A new and highly competitive set of products have been designed and approved. The company has been re-branded
and launched as Pacific Cross Health Insurance PCL from September 2014.

2. Group Health Insurance

protected. In our business of health insurance we have many years of experience helping companies run their employee
welfare schemes effectively and efficiently, from fledgling start-ups all the way up to international organizations with
many thousands of employees in different locations. The options available include covers for :
2.1 Small and Medium Sized Enterprises
Here you can start an employee group with as few as 3 principle members. These plans generally tend to have
limited levels of coverage to choose from with benefit limits varying from THB 100,000 up to THB 600,000 of inpatient
coverage per injury or disability. In addition to the standard cover, there are options to add additional benefits to the
scheme such as :
Outpatient treatment for routine visits to the doctor
Maternity benefit for female members of staff
Major medical cover, which pays 80% over and above the base plan
