RuffaloCody. While I worked here I set the record for a single amount fundraised
in a single call equaling $14,000.00, for this facility.

While I worked at this hospital I assisted anesthesiologists with preparing patients

for anesthesia and during induction and also the surgery. This job helped me
learn interdisciplinary communication and collaboration in surgical teams.

The practice served primarily indigent, children, and elderly families. My duties
included receiving patients from the waiting room, getting their vital signs, and
then verifying their chief complaint. I also assisted doctors and nurses in a
variety of procedures such as fetal heart monitoring, developmental screenings,
and providing education about medications and community support resources.

I worked as a CNA in oncology on weekends during my first semester of college. I

feel this experience taught me time management skills and strengthened my
communication skills with patients as well as the medical staff.
