Settings for Connecting AIS

When the AIS is connected to EC-3000 (all software versions),

from LEGACY to ALERT IF1.

These AISs do not include interfacing for alarm acknowledge input from the ECDIS,
so setup FMD-3200/3300 to disable the al
alerts by using the following steps.
1. Open Common Installation Setting m
menu and select Alert Definition List.
2. In the left pane, the list of sensors, select AIS Transponder.
3. In the right pane, select the alert number (Alert Num).
4. Click EDIT.
5. In Alert Detail Setting display, set Is Active to NO. See FQ4-2013-028.
6. Repeat steps 3 to 5 to disable all alerts related to AIS; 001, 002, 003, 004, 005,
008, 025, 026, 029, 030, 032, and 035.
