2015 Lower Cape May Boys Lacrosse

1) The first official day of practice is Friday March 6th. Practice will begin promptly at
12:45 on the Boys Lacrosse field located next to the Teitelman School.
2) Equipment handout will be as follows:
Returning players Wednesday March 4th, from 2:00 to 3:00
New players Thursday March 5th, from 2:00 to 3:00
3) Attached you will find a practice and game schedule for the entire 2015 season. This
schedule is subject to change, and players will be notified of any changes. Please
notice Sunday practices once the season starts & practice and 2 games over Easter
break. Please Schedule accordingly so you will be present for these Easter Break
practices and games.
4) The last page of the Team handbook must be signed and returned prior to equipment
being handed out. This page needs to be signed by the player and players parent.
An email address for a parent is also required this year. No player shall receive
equipment or begin practice until form is signed.
5) All players must fill out an Athletic Participation form prior to the start of the season.
This form must be signed by your guidance counselor, vice principal, Main Office,
Athletic Trainer/School Nurse and the Athletic Director. This form must be completed
and turned in to the Athletic Office by noon March 2nd in order to receive equipment
prior to the first day of practice. No one will receive equipment or be allowed to
practice without this signed form.
6) This season will again be using Hudl online storage for our game films. Players will be
able to watch films on their computer or Smartphone. We will also have film sessions
after our regular practice. All Varsity players will be required to attend all film
sessions. Films will be 2 to 3 times a week, as our game schedule allows.
7) Rules in effect for the 2015 season:
a) No player may miss more than 4 practices during the season. If you
accumulate more than 4 absences you will be asked to leave the team.
There are no excused absences from practice. If you are injured you are still
expected to attend practice to watch and learn, so you will be on the same page
with the rest of the team when you return.
b) If you miss a game you will sit out the next game. If you miss a second game you
sit out the next 2 games. If you miss a third game you will be asked to leave the
team.
*These attendance rules are the same as last year, but it is necessary to restate them
for everyone so that they can be followed.
c) As last year, no cars may be driven to the practice field or game field. Any
player that has a car may park in the lot by the locker room after school and all
players must walk as a team to practice and games. There will be no exceptions to
this rule do not even ask. Remember we practice on another schools field and must
be respectful of that school.

8) All team communication will be through the Remind system per school guidelines. All
players must signup
