    1st Day

    20 th March 2011

    Daily Journal

    07.25 am

    Arrived at Sek Keb St. Annes Convent and reported my


    attendance to Pn. Hjh Rohaya Bt. Wan Chik, the Headmistress of
    the school.

    07.50 am

    Yashini (another trainee teacher) and I were introduced to other


    teachers who are part of school management :

    Pn. Che Latifah Bt. Ahmad (Penolong Kanan I)


    Pn. Zainab Bt. Mohamad (Penolong Kanan HEM)
    Pn. Ong Phaik Yong (Penolong Kanan Kokurikulum)

    We were then referred to Pn. Che Latifah to discuss on our tasks


    and activities that we are suppose to do during our SBE. Pn. Che
    Latifah gave us some information of the school
    08.00 am

    We visited school compound with Pn. Che Latifah. She showed us


    some of the important areas in the school such as library,
    computer and science lab. The school was suppose to have
    assembly but it is postponed because 6 Azam had confronsi waris.

    08.50 am

    Pn. Che Latifah passed school profile of SK. St. Annes Convent
    (SKSAC) for our reference. We were able to gather many
    information about the school from here.

    09.20 am

    Teachers are allowed to go for break at any free time. We had our
    breakfast in canteen with Pn. Ong Phaik Yong (PK Koko).

    9.50 am

    We met Cik Nurul Izzati bt Md Ruslan, duty teacher for the whole
    week in the staffroom. We had chance to ask her about her duty
    for that particular week. She also shared her portfolio as Guru
    KSSR for Science. We met Mdm. Thilagevathi, one of the English
    teacher.

    1st Day

    20 th March 2011

    We went and meet Mr. Shazali, Head of English Panitia). We


    introduced ourselves and discussed on SBE task that we need to
    do. Since morning session is occupied by Year 1, 5 and 6, En.
    Shazali recommended us to do classroom observation in one of
    the Year 5 classes. He then referred us to Mdm. Thilagavathi to
    observe on teaching method for English Year 5.
    He also recommended us to observe Mr. Nazri, for teaching
    Science since he is one of the Guru Cemerlang Sains and Science
    is our minor.

    12.00 pm

    We again met Pn. Che Latifah to take latest manual of SKSAC


    2011.

    12.20 pm

    Mdm Thilagevathi passed Curriculum Specifications, Teaching


    Contract and Yearly Scheme of Work for English Language Year 5
    for us to photocopy.

    01.15 pm

    We have to write into attendance book before we leave the school


    every day.
