Kindergarten Roundup Registration

If you know any families that have
students that will be starting
Kindergarten next fall please
have them check out the GLPS
website (www.glcomets.net) for
information on how to register
for Kindergarten Round Up. The students must be five
before September 1, 2015. If their birthdate falls
between September 1 and December 1, 2015 the family
can fill out a waiver.
Kindergarten Roundup will be held on March 17, 19, 24 and
25th. Appointments are required. Online registration is now
open. If you have any questions please call our Roundup

OK2SAY Program
On September 2, 2014,
Michigan launched OK2SAY,
a new program that enables
students
( a n d
others) to
confidentially
report potential harm or
criminal activities involving
students, schools or school
employees. OK2SAYs focus
is on early intervention and
prevention acting as an early
warning system to thwart
school tragedies before they
occur. Students (and others)
can submit tips 24/7 by
telephone, text, email,
mobile app and via a webbased form on the OK2SAY
website at www.mi.gov/
ok2say.

Book Signing on March 12th at Book Fair

Book Signing on 2nd Night of Spring Book Fair, March
12th, 6-7pm
Catch a Good Book - and an autograph
too - on the 2nd night of the Book Fair!
Deborah Diesen, author of the PoutPout Fish books, will be signing her
books at the Fair. We will be offering
The Pout-Pout Fish in the Big, Big Dark;
Smile, Pout-Pout Fish, and Pout-Pout Fish Goes to School at
our Fair. In addition, she has offered to sign your existing
copies too!
The Book Fair will be held from
March 10th through March 13th,
with Family Shopping Hours on
March 10th and 12th, from 5-8pm,
and March 13th, from 8-11am.

Join us Saturday, May 2nd for the
Grand Ledge Schools Night at the
Lugnuts Game.

Come out early to

watch the Hayes Select Ensemble

perform the National Anthem. The game will start at
7:05pm.

There will also be fireworks after the game.
