Week of March 9th
What Were Learning
Reading: We will wrap up our reading standards for this
nine weeks. We will focus on comparing and contrasting
two versions of a similar story. We are also reading The
Cricket in Times Square as a class.

Field Trip

Language Arts: We will be wrapping up the quarter by

reviewing several standards. We will focus on synonyms
and looking at how some have a stronger meaning than
others.
Writing: We will write a final opinion piece to be assessed
with the rubric.
Math: We will wrap up the quarter with various
assessments, but will be focusing on using our strategies to
solve word problems.
Health: We will learn about dental hygiene!
