AHMADI BROTHERS, Alex (right) and Ahmad (left) were born in Kabul, Afghanista

in a rug's entrepreneur family. They left Afghanistan in 1980 and settled in We

t Germany, while they were in their early 20's. Their passions for rug inspired t
em to establish their own business, but the lack of capital forced them
to work as repairperson for large rug company in Hamburg, Germany. Years of ha

They had earned enough capital to move to the United States, in 1987, to open
their own independent repair shop in the heart of rug's industry in Beverly
Hills, California. They have repaired rugs from every corner of the world and
earned an unspeakable greatness in artistic restoration of rugs that this still
rings true today. In 1990, Ahmadi brothers opened their own rug gallery in
West Los Angeles. The colossal pyramids of rug in Los Angeles stumped them
as ordinary repairman, not as rug entrepreneurs.
In mid 1990's, they traveled to Pakistan to manufacture rug. To that date, they
have earned stoical reputations but had started to crack the formidable alliance
of rug dynasties in the United States. With numbered of looms in Pakistan, and
by joining with their families, after years of separation, they started to reclaim
their, lost, family business once again.
Their name and their brands, soon, attracted designers of home furnishing from
every city in United States and Europe. They became partners with other two
galleries in design center in Beverly Hills, and San Francisco. Their rugs were
advertised in major design magazine such as Architectural Digest, House
Beautiful, Vogue Living, and Elle Decor Magazine.
The productions of Ariana have been appreciated in international rug shows all
over the world from Atlanta's International Rug, New York International Rug,
Los Angeles, Hanover, Germany, and 2009, in Moscow, Russia.
The wholesale price range of Arian's rugs starts from $5000 to $35000 per
piece. Ariana Rug is planning to expand their productions in mass, all over
Afghanistan with an affordable price, so average households can purchase their
brand around the world.
