it is costing process , the department for this segment combination code has a lot of
employee assigned on it also without no errors ,
this employee has retro for a previous year , the account in GL without start date or
end date and the employee updating his account to this dept since year ago .but still
facing it
the creation of GL like this
Security department 4000
-- general security department 4001
the assigned org to employee are the parent Security but the cost information
assigned it 4001 the parent just Naming
any advise .?

check all ur element link costing and balancing

credit and dept side

exist one year back so try to update this employee suspense account on assignment
level.

cost center segment (keep it empty) from the retro element and it will inheret the
cost center from parent element. Try and feed back
