Installation Guide

System Requirements
Bellum Deorum supports the following operating systems:

Mac OS X 10.7.3 (Lion) or later

Windows 8 Desktop
Windows 7
Windows XP
Windows Vista SP2
Windows Server 2008
Windows Server 2012 (64-bit)

Minimum System requirements:

Intel Pentium 2 (266 MHz) or faster processor

128 MB of physical RAM
128 MB of free disk space

Additional software required:

Java Runtime Environment (JRE): http://www.java.com/en/download/

Running the Game

1. The game is distributed as a compressed zip file. To run the game, you will first need to extract
the contents of the zip archive.
To do this, on a Windows PC, right click on the zip file Bellum Deorum 1.0 and select Extract All
To extract the file on a Mac, right click on the zip file and select Open With --> Archive
Utility (default).
If your Operating System does not have a native file archiving utility, you may need to download
7-Zip/WinRAR (download link provided above) or any other file archiving utility to extract the zip
archive.
2. Once the file has been extracted, in order to run it, you need the Java Runtime Environment
(JRE). If you do not have the JRE already installed on your computer, download it via the link
provided above. Once you have downloaded and installed the JRE, double click on the jar file
(Bellum Deorum 1.0), located within the dist folder, to start the game.
3. For specific instructions on navigating through the main-menu screen and gameplay, please refer
to the Instruction Manual located within the dist folder.
