Senior citizen

RA 7432: SECTION 2. Definition of Terms. As used in this Act, the term senior
citizen shall mean any resident of the Philippines at least sixty (60) years old,
including those who have retired from both government offices and private
enterprises, and has an income of not more than Sixty thousand pesos (P60,000.00)
per annum subject to review by the National Economic and Development Authority
(NEDA) every three (3) years.

5.1 SENIOR CITIZEN OR ELDERLY refers to any Filipino citizen who is a resident of
the Philippines, and who is sixty (60) years old or above. It may apply to senior
citizens with dual citizenship status provided they prove their Filipino citizenship
and have at least six (6) months residency in the Philippines.
