Main Activity:
8) Before the teacher start the game, the children would have to

(e.g rule 1: take turns with your groupmates so everyone will
have a chance to play.
Rule 2: no running and pushing around. Everyone can walk
and wait for their turn.
Rule 3: all children will have to keep their volume down as
the other classes are having their lesson.
Can we all agree on this?

the families working style.
Today, we are going to act like the family that you are in.
12) Teacher will tell children that biscuits will be placed at
different area of the playground and they will have to carry
out the mission like the families.
The playground will be the place where ants find their food.
So you have to go and find your food at the area.
13) Teacher will ask each group to take 20 pieces of beads
representing as the starting amount of food they have.
Ants! You will be taking the beads to represent peanuts
because we do not want to waste any real food. So lets count
20 peanuts for each family.

different options at different parts of the day.
(1. In the morning, the two families do what they do
everyday.
2. The sun rise up to the middle of the sky and the family

After a day of hardwork, at the end of the day, how much

their friends and how many more or how many less they

20) Each child is given the opportunity to share how they got the
answer.
(e.g. tell everyone how you got your answers okay? )
Evaluation:
-

Children are very messy as they were too excited over the
lesson.Teacher did not reinforce the rules and was unclear
with instructions given to the children.

The difficulty of the lesson should be increased and the

questions asked during the lesson should be clearer to the
children as they could not understand the meaning of the
questions.
