The beginning of the work


1/ The first encounter of the man with the fire got free his mind and let him to
imagine multiple ways of making tools. 2/ Suddenly the wood began to be used
as a way of heating and protection. 3/ The first weapons were made of wood
and stone.
4/The spears and knives were used to hunt and the meat of the animals was
roasted in the fire. 5/ They divided the work: The men hunted and protect the
village and the women cooked the meal and care the children. 6/ The primitive
men organized the different jobs according to the skills or capacities of the
villages members. 7/ Some of them started to fish, others started to make
clothes, handcraft or artifacts for cooking and by this method the occupations
were born.

The smiths and the metals


1/ The Middle Age was a very dangerous time, the men lived in wars or fighting
each others. 2/The swords, the armors, the shields were elements of life or
death. 3/So being a Smith was the most popular job in that age. 4/Many smiths
began to appear in the small villages and the big cities, their work was very
valued. 5/ With big hammers and their anvils they made all kinds of metal
devices. 6/ From the simplest horseshoes to the most complex armors,
everything passed through their hands. 7/ Generally, the metal was heated until
it becomes incandescent, hot and then it was subjected to the forging process.
