In this assignment students are asked to create their own faction, in which they must
persuade other students in the class to want to join. By creating a visual aid, like a brochure,
Prezi, or powerpoint presentation slideshow to display the information, students will discuss the
topic, purpose, and audience in relation to who their faction is targeting to recruit.
Step 1: Create an interesting and unique faction name. Provide a definition of the factions name.
Step 2: List the characteristics of the people who belong to the faction.
Step 3: In one paragraph, create a main point (topic) and discuss it in relation to the audience,
where you will argue and persuade your classmates why your new faction is the best.
Step 4: Present information about your new faction in a brochure, Prezi, or slide show.
Have FUN, be creative, and good luck!
